Youn Yuh-jung and Lee Seung-gi's agency Hook Entertainment merge with production company

SEOUL, Dec. 10 (Yonhap) -- South Korean management agency Hook Entertainment announced Friday that it will join hands with drama and animation production company Chorokbaem Media to become an entertainment group.

After reporting to merge with Chorokbaem Media, Hook Entertainment stated to "make efforts to develop a new media business."

Hook Entertainment currently manages actors Youn Yuh-jung, Lee Seo-jin, and singers Lee Sun-hee, and Lee Seung-gi, and recently co-produced SBS TV's entertainment show "Team Up 072" and KBS TV's travel documentary. Chorokbaem Media previously produced dramas like "Jumong," "High Kick!," "The Slave Hunters," "My Mister" and "The Penthouse: War in Life" series.

Kwon Jin-young, CEO of Hook Entertainment, said, "In an era where K-content is attracting global attention, we have decided to merge with Chorokbaem Media. We will use this opportunity to make a leap forward and fulfill our bigger dreams."
