SEOUL, Sept. 19 (Yonhap) -- JTBC weekend drama "The Good Detective 2," which depicted detectives working in the scene for the social justice, ended with viewership ratings of around 8%.

According to the data by Nielson Korea on Sept. 18, the final episode recorded ratings of 8.1% in viewership. This is its own highest record, higher than highest viewership ratings of season 1, 7.6%.

The last episode revealed truths about the day when Jung Hee-soo (Ha-young) died.

Final villain was TJ Group's director Cheon Na-na (Kim Hyo-jin). Cheon met Jung who was in an affair with her husband at a house in Yangpyeong two years ago, and hit Jung's head with a wine bottle after feeling humiliated.

Detectives Kang Do-chang (Son Hyun-joo) and Oh Ji-hyuk (Jang Seung-jo) raided office of Cheon's half brother Choen Sang-woo (Choi Dae-hoon) and found a CCTV footage where Cheon confessed that she "killed Jung." Cheon was eventually hand-cupped.
