SEOUL, Dec. 2 (Yonhap) -- Pyeongchang city announced on Friday that winter's main festival, Pyeongchang Ice Fishing Festival, will take place from December 30 of this year to January 29 of next year.

Daegwallyeong Snow Festival will be held for ten days, from next Jan. 20 to Jan.29.

The city will be doing promotional activities to promote the winter festivals and to revitialize city's tourism after COVID-19.

The activities will take place until Saturday using promotional cars at cultural square in Ilsan.

They will hand out leaflets to promote Pyeongchang Ice Fishing Festival and Daegwallyeong Snow Festival

The city will hold various promotional events including prize event with mascot "Noon-dong-ee" to promote Pyeongchang's winter tourism, which is to be held for the first time in 3 years.
