SEOUL, June 7 (Yonhap) -- The National Gugak Center Dance Theater will be presenting the regular performance "New Royal Exorcism" (directed by Lee In-bo) at the Yeakdang of the National Gugak Center from the 16th till the 17th.

"Narye (儺禮)" is a ceremony held on the night of New Year's Eve in the court and private sector to ward off bad energy. In particular, the royal court narye was a festival with the best private entertainers along with the royal court entertainers.

Although it has set the theme on the existing royal court dance, Narye, it is newly composed and is presented by collaborating with Liquid Sound, which has gained attention by expressing Yeonhui in a modern way at Korea and abroad.

"The heart of 'Narye,' which prayed for new hope by warding off bad energy, contains the spirit of artists who tried to overcome the crisis by harmonizing with art," said artistic director Yoo Jeong-suk.
