SEOUL, Mar. 8 (Yonhap) – K-pop boy group TREASURE from YG Entertainment topped Japan’s Oricon weekly chart.

TREASURE’s “THE SECOND STEP : CHAPTER ONE” ranked No. 1 on Oricon weekly album chart(Feb. 28 ~ Mar. 6), according to YG Entertainment on Tuesday.

The group previously topped Oricon weekly chart with the Japanese full album “THE FIRST STEP : TREASURE EFFECT” about a year ago.

YG said that the increasing popularity of TREASURE in Japan is impressive as “THE SECOND STEP : CHAPTER ONE” is a mini album containing only Korean songs.

Earlier, the tile song “JIKJIN” of this album won the first place on the major music charts, including Apple Music, iTunes, AWA, Rakuten Music, and mu-mo.
