DAEJEON, Feb. 24 (Yonhap) -- KOMSCO announced yesterday that it will sell the commemorative medal of Vietnamese national team coach Park Hang-seo (63) in Korea and also in Vietnam.

Park’s medal, firstly modeled after a Korean soccer coach, shows Park and soccer fans cheering on the front side. Taegeuk and a star, symbols of Korean and Vietnamese flags, were expressed using techniques (designs that look different depending on the angle of view).

On the back, the My Dinh National Stadium in Hanoi, Vietnam, where the 2018 ASEAN Football Federation Suzuki Cup final was held, the goal scene, and Park’s famous quote, “Don't bow because you did your best” was produced in Korean and Vietnamese.

The medal is made of three materials: gold (99.9% purity, 15.55g, diameter 28mm), silver (99.9%, 31.1g, 40mm), and copper (10.1g, 28.2mm).

Ban Jang-sik, the president of KOMSCO said, “It is meaningful to sell Park’s commemorative medals in Korea and Vietnam at the same time," adding, "We will continue to strive to enhance the national brand by introducing high-quality products containing Korean style and culture."
