SEOUL, Jan. 18 (Yonhap) -- Yuju from girl group GFriend, will drop her first solo album ‘REC’ on Jan. 18 at 6 p.m. on various music sites.

It is the first comeback in about a year and two months since GFRIEND's activities and the first page of her musical career as a solo artist.
 

The singer participated in the writing and composing of the album including the title song “Play.”

Yuju said, “I was able to complete the entire process thanks to the encouragement and deep support from my fans,” adding, “I think it will be very new. I hope you enjoy the music, stage, and album activities together.”

Yuju, who debuted in 2015, received attention from GFRIEND for her outstanding singing ability as the main vocalist.

After last year's team activities, she joined KONNECT Entertainment led by singer Kang Daniel.
