Have you tried Korean dining yet? If you haven’t, I’m going to recommend a restaurant that has Korean dining table today. Check out this restaurant called ‘시골밥상(Country Dining Table in English)’. It sells Korean cuisine including DackBokEum(Braised Spicy Chicken), Samgyetang, Traditional Korean meal etc.

These are the photos of the store from outside. There was a menu written in Chinese as well.

This is the menu. Normally, when I go to restaurant, the menu comes in a printed version. But in this restaurant, the menu is written on a rice paddle, a tool used to scoop steamed rice, as you can see in the photo. This menu paddle really came into my eyes. Interesting! I thought this thing will come as interesting to foreigners who will visit the restaurant.

This is the photo that shows the interior of the restaurant. When I entered the restaurant, I thought the traditional Korean vibe is really in the air. I felt like being inside a traditional thatched-roof house.

 This is the photo of the traditional Korean meal I ordered. When I saw the menus after I ordered it, I was surprised. Normally, when I ordered traditional Korean meal, I can only see one stew; Kimchi stew or Soybean stew. But in this restaurant, I can see both Kimchi stew and Soybean stew served together. A small difference, but quite interesting to me. 

 

But there is one thing to remember; Bulgogi and steamed eggs are separate menus, which means you have to order them separately. Also, the types of complementary side dishes are subject to change.

 

Overall, I was satisfied with the price and the menu. Also, I heard that there were many famous people, such as Kim Jong Kook and Seventeen, visited there. Also, many foreigners already visited there. So, if you have a chance and want to try some Korean traditional dining table, I certainly recommend this restaurant.
