SEOUL, July 10 (Yonhap) --"We’re a flower that is just rises but we will do

ZEROBASEONE, a group formed through “Boys Planet”, Idol Survival Program of Mnet, took their first step into the music industry.

Sung Han Bin, the leader of ZEROBASEONE, released debut album “YOUTH IN THE SHADE” on 10, at a commemorative showcase held at YES24 Live Hall in Gwangjin-gu, Seoul, said, “The dream of the nine members is finally blooming.”

ZEROBASEONE is a nine-member group of contestants who made the top nine in the final rankings including Zhang Hao, the winner of “Boys Planet”, survival program of Mnet aired early this year.

98 participants gathered from all over the world competed with the goal of debuting, drawing attention among global K-pop fans.

ZEROBASEONE released an official album three months after the end of the show in April, and challenged the summer music industry.

 
Sung Han Bin said, "We were able to raise our teamwork in a short period of time because we agreed once through the show”.

In their debut album “YOUTH IN SHADE”, contained six songs; “New Kidz on the Block”, “Back to ZEROBASE”, “우주먼지(and I)”, “Our Season”, “Always”, including the title song “In Bloom”.

Title song “In Bloom” is a drum and bass song that has a vintage sensitivity, containing the beginning of ZEROBASEONE who is still inexperienced but takes a beautiful step.

A song with a cheerful atmosphere was born by homage some of the verses of “Take on Me”, famous song of band A-ha.

Sung Han Bin introduced, “It’s an album depicting the beauty of brilliant youth” while saying "This album contains the sincerity that we can show right now".

The first mini-album of ZEROBASEONE recorded the highest number of K-pop group debut albums with about 1.08 million pre-orders.

The members expressed their ambition to write a record worthy of the modifier "5th generation rising star."
