SEOUL, Apr. 14 (Yonhap) – As it was known that president-elect Yoon Suk-yeol will appear on the tvN’s entertainment program “You Quiz on the Block,” there has been a heated criticism on the show’s viewers bulletin board.

According to the “You Quiz on the Block” website bulletin board, about 3,000 posts have been uploaded until Apr. 14 at 3 p.m. since the news reported that president-elect Yoon finished filming for the show.

President-elect Yoon finished shooting for “You Quiz on the Block” on Apr. 13, and it was scheduled to be aired on Apr. 20.

There were mostly negative views and comments in regards to the appearance of president-elect Yoon.

The viewers said, “I think the appearance of a president-elect does not correspond to the purpose of the program,” adding, “Can’t we just relax and watch the entertainment show?,” and “You will see what happens when entertainment shows get involved in politics.”

There were also posts saying “media control” and “program abolition,” while others either criticized or pitied the host Yoo Jae-suk.

However, some people welcomed the appearance, saying, “I want to listen to the real story of president-elect Yoon.”

tvN will not announce any official position regarding the appearance of president-elect Yoon.
