SEOUL, June 17 (Yonhap) -- Luxury tea brand Osulloc has opened the Osulloc Tea House Tea Factory branch near its Hannam tea fields in Seogwipo, Jeju Island.

Located adjacent to Osulloc's tea plantation and tea factory, the new venue serves as a tea destination connecting visitors with both the cultivation and production processes. Featuring restrained architectural design that harmonizes with the surrounding landscape and wide windows offering panoramic views, the space allows guests to enjoy tea while taking in the natural scenery.

Through the new venue, Osulloc aims to provide an immersive experience tracing the journey of tea from leaf cultivation to the finished product.

The branch also offers a variety of signature menu items made with freshly harvested local tea leaves. These include four kinds of "Tea Gelato," which reinterpret Jeju matcha and hojicha as frozen desserts, and "Matcha Affredo," a rich matcha shake topped with sweet matcha gelato, delivering the flavors of Jeju tea in a fresh and modern way.

Starting with the opening of the Tea House Tea Factory branch, Osulloc plans to continue expanding tea experiences based on its Jeju production sites.

In late July, the company plans to open a tea library where visitors can explore Osulloc's tea culture in greater depth and launch tea factory tour programs for the general public. The Tea House Tea Factory branch is expected to serve as the starting point for various tea-related experiences, including the tea library and factory tours.

"The Tea House Tea Factory branch goes beyond simply drinking tea and connects visitors with the journey of how tea is made," an Osulloc official said. "We will continue to offer new tea experiences that blend Jeju's natural environment with tea culture."

The Osulloc Tea House Tea Factory branch is located at 191, Seoseong-ro 652beon-gil, Namwon-eup, Seogwipo, Jeju.
