SEOUL February 28 (Yonhap) — Jeonju City located within North Jeolla province addressed on Tuesday that they will be showcasing “2nd Jeonju International picture book Fair” starting from May 12 until June 4 at Jeonju City Library and Palbok Art Factory.
The book fair will consist of various sections such ad exhibition where visitors will be able to see wide variants of books from not only South Korea but from different parts of the world, various shows, lecture sessions from various editors, writers, translators and more will take place.
More detailed schedule will be disclosed in near future.
Previously on 2022 when Jeonju City Government first hosted the “Jeonju International Picture Book Fair” over 20 thousand visitors have shown up at the fair.
Mayor of Jeonju City Government Woo Beom-gi who will serve as the chairman of the fair committee addressed “Despite of one’s age Picture book is something that anyone can enjoy, therefore it has unlimited possibilities,” adding “We will do our best to solidify our grounds to become the one and only picture book fair which represents South Korea.”
