SEOUL, Aug. 19 (Yonhap) -- The popular YouTube animation "Pangpang's Daily Life" has launched a new pop-up store.
Park Tae-joon Cartoon Company (The Grimm Entertainment) announced that from August 19 to September 1, the "Pangpang and Okji's General Store" pop-up will be open at the Emporia Building in Gangnam, Seoul, to celebrate the second anniversary of the web animation.
This marks the third pop-up store for the series, following previous events in July last year at The Hyundai Seoul in Yeouido and December at S Factory in Seongsu, Seoul. The store will offer 94 different products featuring the Pangpang character, including shopping bags, keychains, mosquito repellents, and toothbrush sets.
Visitors will receive limited edition photocards, while customers who make purchases will also receive mini emoticon stickers from "Pangpang's Daily Life."
"Pangpang's Daily Life," which captures the sitcom-like daily adventures of Pangpang and his girlfriend Okji, currently has around 2.32 million subscribers on YouTube. Since December last year, the series has also entered the Japanese market through a licensing agreement with Sony Creative Products.
