SEOUL, Feb. 21 (Yonhap) -- Chinese actress Fan Bingbing will appear in a Korean drama for the first time through JTBC’s new series “Insider.”

The JTBC drama said on Monday, "Fan Bingbing has decided to make a special appearance and recently completed filming," adding, "It is difficult to announce the details due to the development of the drama."

“Insider” is about a legal apprentice conducting an undercover investigation whose life falls apart and struggles in the prison’s gambling den. Actor Kang Ha-neul and Lee Yoo-young will star in the main roles.

Fan Bingbing recently returned to the screen for the first time in about four years after starring in the Hollywood film “355.”
