SEOUL, Apr. 4 (Yonhap) – K-pop concerts that have been cancelled for nearly 2 years due to COVID-19 are coming out of hibernation.

K-pop superband BTS will hold offline concerts in Las Vegas 4 times from Apr. 8 to 16 to meet their fans.

It is the group’s first concert in about a month since the “BTS Permission to Dance on Stage - Seoul" concert held in Seoul last month.

The Allegiant Stadium, where the concert will be held, can accommodate about 65,000 audiences at once and it is expected to attract nearly 300,000 fans for 4 days. The tickets for the concert have already been sold out during the presales for the BTS’ fan club "ARMY."

There are various events, such as BTS photo exhibitions and fountain show, provided in Las Vegas before and after the concert.

K-pop boy group Stray Kids, which recently topped the Billboard's main albums chart, will also visit the city to meet their fans abroad.

Starting with the 3-day concert in Seoul from Apr. 29 to May 1, Stray Kids will hold concerts in 10 cities around the world until the end of July, going on a tour in Kobe, Tokyo, Japan, Chicago, and Los Angeles(LA), United States.

The tour will be held for the first time in about 2 years and 5 months since the group’s world tour held in 2019.

K-pop girl group TWICE, which finished their U.S. tour in February this year, will hold a concert at the Tokyo Dome from Apr. 23 to 25 to mark their 5th debut anniversary in Japan.

The group will travel to the United States next month and hold an encore concert of the world tour “III” to meet 22,000 audiences. TWICE is the first K-pop girl group to perform at a stadium in North America.

K-pop boy group ATEEZ, considered as one of the leading "4th generation K-pop stars," will meet their local fans 9 times in 6 European cities, starting with Madrid, Spain on Apr. 23, London, Paris, France, Berlin, Germany, Amsterdam, the Netherlands, and Warsaw, Poland.

A 12-member boy group TREASURE from YG Entertainment will hold 17 tour concerts in 6 cities, starting with the Hokkaido Prefectural Sports Center on Nov. 26, 2022. It is the group’s first “Arena tour” in Japan since the debut in 2020.
