SEOUL, April 18 (Yonhap) -- The Korea Heritage Agency (KHA) announced Friday that it will run a pop-up store event from April 18 to May 1 in Seongsu-dong, Seoul.
The event is held at Separates, a multi-purpose cultural venue in Seoul’s Seongsu-dong neighborhood, in celebration of the upcoming "2025 Spring Royal Culture Festival," the KHA said.
The pop-up will feature hands-on experiences inspired by the festival’s signature content, including a “hanbok experience” where visitors can dress in traditional Korean attire and take commemorative photos, and “Custom Genre Painting,” an interactive activity using tablet PCs to create and print personalized Joseon-era character illustrations.
A selection of official merchandise will also be available, including chopsticks, 3D magnets featuring palace illustrations, handkerchiefs, and fans.
The Spring Royal Culture Festival itself will be held from April 26 to May 4 at five major palaces in Seoul—Gyeongbokgung, Changdeokgung, Deoksugung, Changgyeonggung, and Gyeonghuigung—as well as Jongmyo Shrine.
