SEOUL, Feb. 3 (Yonhap) -- South Korean jazz-rock fusion band Bom Yeoreum Gaeul Kyeoul, also known as SSaW, will hold their concert at the Cerritos Center for the Performing Arts in Los Angeles in May to mark their 35th debut anniversary.

The acts will have their performance in one of the best theaters in the U.S., where Korean American classical violinist Sarah Chang held her concert.

The band was first formed by the late singer Kim Hyun-sik, and was then reorganized into a duo of Kim Jong-jin and Jeon Tae-gwan. The band then made their official debut with the first LP in 1988. The band released a slew of hit songs, including “Bravo, My Life!,” “Outsider,” and “Someone’s Dream.” Although the band disbanded after the death of the former member Jeon Tae-gwan in Dec. 2018, Kim Jong-jin has been active since then.

SSaW will appear on KBS 1TV’s “Open Concert” on Sunday in celebration of the band’s 35th debut anniversary. The band will then release the tracks they have released so far in high quality starting in mid-June. The songs will also be available overseas.
