SEOUL, March 10 (Yonhap) -- Everland, the theme park operated by the resort division of Samsung C&T, will open its annual tulip festival on March 20, the company said Tuesday.
Running through the end of next month, the festival will showcase about 1.2 million spring flowers from more than 100 varieties, including tulips, daffodils and muscari.
This year’s event will feature enhanced garden displays, including an Infinity Tulip Garden where a large LED screen blends visually with a real flower garden, as well as a large Dutch-style tulip field.
An Everland official said the park is carefully preparing to present visitors with the most beautiful spring scenery ahead of the festival’s opening.
“Visitors will also be able to enjoy a variety of attractions along with the spring flowers this year, including the renewed Safari World and a new large-scale performance,” the official said.
