SEOUL, May 22 (Yonhap) -- Aestura, the derma cosmetics brand of Amorepacific, has launched two new products in its Atobarrier365 line designed for sensitive and dehydrated skin, the company said Friday.

The new products are the "Atobarrier365 Hydro Soothing Cream" and the "Atobarrier365 Capsule Toner."

The company said the new toner and upgraded soothing cream further strengthen the Atobarrier365 line's barrier-moisturizing solution by helping reinforce the skin barrier from the first step of skincare after cleansing.

The "Atobarrier365 Hydro Soothing Cream" is a renewed version of Aestura's bestselling soothing cream, upgraded specifically for sensitive oily skin lacking moisture.

The product features Aestura's patented compressed hyaluronic acid technology, which reduces the size of high-molecular hyaluronic acid particles to one-hundredth of their original size, enabling absorption five times faster and longer-lasting hydration, according to the company.

Human application tests confirmed that the cream delivers deep hydration to up to 10 layers beneath the skin surface and maintains moisture for up to 72 hours, the company said.

The cream also completed seven safety tests, making it suitable for sensitive skin users, it added.

The company said high-density ceramide capsules in the formula help strengthen vulnerable skin barriers, while blind testing showed a 24 percent improvement in satisfaction regarding deep skin hydration.

The product's volume was increased by 20 milliliters while maintaining the same price as the previous version.

The "Atobarrier365 Capsule Toner" is a barrier toner designed to simultaneously provide hydration and reinforce the skin barrier at the first stage of skincare.

The toner combines mildly acidic toning water containing PHA with visible high-density ceramide capsules and applies a patent-pending floating capsule formula intended to soothe sensitive skin affected by cleansing and external irritation.

Human application tests showed a 33 percent increase in skin moisture immediately after use, a 93 percent improvement in skin barrier damage and a 100 percent satisfaction rate regarding skin texture hydration, the company said.

An Aestura official said the company, which described itself as South Korea's No. 1 dermacosmetic facial care brand, aims to provide specialized solutions for sensitive and dehydrated skin.

The official added that the launch further diversifies the Atobarrier365 lineup centered on barrier moisturization to address a wider range of customer needs.

The two new products will first launch through CJ Olive Young and later become available through major online and offline sales channels, the company said.
