SEOUL, July 26 (Yonhap) --The representative festival of Hongcheon county, Gangwon province, "Waxy corn festival" will be held at the Hongcheon Riverside in Hongcheon-eup for three days from July 29 till July 31.

Raw corns will cost 600-700 won per piece, while boiled corn will cost 1,000 won each.

Hongcheon waxy corn is cultivated by farmers in an estimated area of 1,000 hectares, and will be shipped by mid-October.
