SEOUL, July 25 (Yonhap) -- Nothing has changed since I have landed myself a lead role compare to the days I have spent as an extra. If anything changed, it would be my mothers diet, she only eats naturally grown veggies and fruits.
“Park Byung-eun” who visited the Cafe in Shinsa district in Seoul to celebrate the ending of the drama “Eve,” chuckled while stating “Nowadays, I heard a lot of my mother’s classmates at cultural center likes me a lot.”

Drama “Eve” is South Korean actor Park Byung-eun’s first lead role in 21 years of work.
Throughout the drama actor Park Byung-eun acted out the CEO of number one conglomerate, Kang Yoon-gyeom, and acted out the details of a guy who is desperate because he is blinded by his love. Judging by the characteristic of the protagonist, he did not have countless lines nor have various emotions, Park Byung-eun managed to encompass the desire, resentment, anger, anxiety through the look of his eyes.
Character Kang Yoon-gyeom who give everything to his love Lee La-el acted by Seo Yea-ji, but Lee La-el who intentionally approached Kang Yoon-gyeom in order to seek payback for her parents death lures him and controls him and eventually leads him to his downfall.

Moreover, Park Byung-eun added to further explain “Kang Yoon-gyeom is an out of wedlock child and to worsen the situation he was beaten throughout his childhood, therefore he is filled with scars, loneliness, and the first person he ever opened his heart to is Lee La-el,
Park Byung-eun considered Kang Yoon-gyeom’s loneliness provided stronger ties between him and the character therefore it was much easier for him to concentrate on the role.
“Everyone feels loneliness, sometimes I take a week off to go out fishing by myself. If I cant handle more of the loneliness while eating the ramen I often times return home, although the depth of the loneliness might be different but I feel like at the core, we are feeling a similar kind of loneliness.” announced, Park Byung-eun during the interview.
South Korean actor Park Byung-eun who dreamed of becoming an actor since he was in his teenage years started to make a name for himself after appearing in the South Korean Blockbuster film “Assassination” in 2015 as a Japanese general Kawaguchi Shunsuke.
Although Park Byung-eun spent considerably long period of time in the obscurity, he says “I have never considered a different path” adding “I can introduce myself with bit more confidence.” and chuckled.
