SEOUL, Dec. 3 (Yonhap) -- Son Heung-min, the South Korean star for Tottenham Hotspur, drew attention for his "Spider-Man" goal celebration after scoring his fifth goal of the Premier League season against Brentford at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in London on Thursday (local time). 

Shortly after securing a point, Son held a short goal ceremony that involved the football star to gesture his hands like Spider-Man in front of the broadcasting cameras. Son then finished off with his signature camera pose by shaping his fingers to look as if he was taking a picture.

The reason for Son's goal celebration seems to stem from Tom Holland, the lead actor who plays Spider-Man in the upcoming movie "Spider-Man: No Way Home," who previously said he was a fan of the football club.

In an interview with GQ, America's international monthly men's magazine, last month, Holland revealed to be a fan of Tottenham.

After the match against Brentford, Tottenham posted a video of Son's ceremony on the club's official Twitter account with the caption "Spider-Son: Goal at home," which is a parody of the upcoming Spiderman movie title.

In return, the official Twitter account for "Spider-Man: No Way Home" retweeted Tottenham's post and replied, "if you see me on the street, please greet me like this."
