SEOUL, April 10 (Yonhap) -- K-pop group BIGBANG will take the stage at the “Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival” in California later this month, marking a symbolic new beginning as they celebrate their 20th anniversary, their agency said Friday.

 

According to YG Entertainment, the group will perform for about 60 minutes on April 12 and 19 at the global music festival held in Indio, California.

 

BIGBANG is set to perform at the Outdoor Theatre, one of Coachella’s major stages, where they will present hit songs such as “Bang Bang Bang” and “Fantastic Baby.”

 

The Coachella appearance will also serve as the opening of the group’s global tour commemorating the 20th anniversary of their debut. The group plans to launch a new world tour following the festival.

 

“Coachella is a symbolic stage that marks another beginning for us, so we have prepared with special determination,” BIGBANG said through YG Entertainment. “We hope to connect closely with fans around the world and deliver the best performance where everyone can come together through music.”
