SEOUL, Sept. 4 (Yonhap) -- Kolmar Korea, a leading cosmetics manufacturer, said Friday it participated in Premiere Vision Paris, the world's largest fashion and textile materials exhibition, after becoming the first Korean cosmetics company to be invited to the event.

 

Held in Paris Tuesday to Thursday, the event brought together about 900 companies from around the world and featured eight specialized sections covering yarns, fabrics, design, accessories, leather and smart creation.

 

This year, a 150-square-meter "Cosmetics Village" was established for the first time to promote collaboration between the fashion and beauty industries, with more than 10 beauty companies showcasing a range of products and technologies.

 

Kolmar Korea set up a separate booth in the main space showcasing seasonal trends and designed it around the theme "The Encounter of Beauty and Fashion," displaying 27 colors on a wall.

 

A Kolmar Korea official said, "We will strengthen our competitiveness in color cosmetics and introduce differentiated products by incorporating innovative technologies."
