SEOUL April 25 (Yonhap) -- Soorim Cultural Foundation has appointed artist Kim Bo-min as the award winner of “Soorim Art Prize 2023.” addressed foundation on Tuesday.

Out of 111 of the nominees Soorim Cultural Foundation has selected a visual artist under the age of 49 years old, (international age) with at least three years of solo exhibition. The process of selection includes screening applications, interview and revision.

Artist Kim Bo-min connects drawing, paintings, murals and more with her personal life experiences and produce social scenery.

The Foundation will invest in one of the artist piece and support the solo exhibition to be held in Kim Hee-soo art center in December.

Soorim Cultural Foundation, has came up with the “Soorim Art Prize” in 2017 to support the visual artists who continue on with various activities.
