'Golden' from K-Pop Demon Hunters holds No. 2 spot on Billboard Hot 100 for third straight week

SEOUL, Nov. 12 (Yonhap) -- 

The original soundtrack (OST) “Golden” from the Netflix animated film K-Pop Demon Hunters has remained at No. 2 on the U.S. Billboard Hot 100 main singles chart for three consecutive weeks.

 

According to the latest chart released on Tuesday (local time), “Golden” ranked second, following pop star Taylor Swift’s “The Fate of Ophelia.”

 

After climbing from No. 3 to No. 2 on Oct. 28, “Golden” has maintained the same position for three weeks in a row.

 

A total of eight tracks from the K-Pop Demon Hunters OST appeared on this week’s Hot 100.

 

“Soda Pop” placed at No. 12, followed by “Your Idol” at No. 14. “How It’s Done” ranked No. 23, and “What It Sounds Like” came in at No. 29.

 

“Takedown” took the No. 35 spot, and “Free” placed at No. 39. Another version of “Takedown,” performed by TWICE members Jeongyeon, Jihyo and Chaeyoung, entered the chart at No. 77.

 

HYBE’s global girl group KATSEYE rose four spots from last week to No. 33 with “Gabriela.”

 

TWICE’s “Strategy” ranked at No. 73, while LE SSERAFIM’s new single “SPAGHETTI” held steady at No. 89.

 

On the Billboard 200 albums chart, the K-Pop Demon Hunters OST album stayed at No. 2 for the second consecutive week, marking its 20th straight week on the chart.

 

KATSEYE’s album “Beautiful Chaos” ranked No. 43, while Stray Kids’ “Karma” landed at No. 86.
