SEOUL, Mar. 15 (Yonhap) -- K-pop girl group TWICE’s “FANCY” music video, which was released in 2019, has surpassed 500 million views on YouTube.
The “FANCY” music video exceeded 500 million views on Mar. 15 at 3:32 a.m., according to the agency JYP Entertainment on Tuesday.
It is the fourth time that TWICE’s music video has reached over 500 million views, following “TT,” “LIKEY,” and “What is Love?”
“FANCY” is a song of pop dance genre that shows off confident charms of the group.
The song depicted a confident manner in front of a lover through lyrics, such as “Who cares if someone likes it first” and “I want to see you now,” and drew attention with its fancy choreography and performances.
TWICE has recently set a series of records on YouTube.
Among the group’s music videos released so far, a total of 20 videos have exceeded hundreds of millions of views, including 16 songs released in Korea, 3 songs released in Japan, and the first English single "The Feels."
The 13 music videos surpassed 300 million views, breaking the world record of the girl groups.
