SEOUL October 29 (Yonhap) -- “Paju Peace Festival” will kick off for the first time at the Imjingak Pavilion Tourist Site Peace Outdoor Theater on November 5, addressed Paju city government on Saturday.
First of its kind “Paju Peace Festival” will be held under the theme of “Peace has fully bloomed.”
Starting with Limjin River Art troop’s pre-meal performance, South Korean pop opera singer Lim Hyung-joo, Davichi, Big Mama and more will take the stage.
Moreover, the festival with include drawing of peace wall photo zone, wishing while hanging up the Cheongsa Chorong (Korean traditional lantern) and more interactive activities will greet the visitors.
Taken into the consideration of cold weather, Paju city government has installed over 100 of tents where visitors will be able to enjoy the concert from a cozy tent.
Tent zone will be offered through an advance reservation.
Visitors without a reservation will be offered with blankets and hot packs, for them to use while enjoying the concert at the grass field, where individuals will be allowed to bring their own tent or a mat.
