SEOUL, Oct. 10 (Yonhap) — Girl group TWICE is close to selling a cumulative of 15 million albums in Korea and Japan, its agency JYP Entertainment announced on Monday.

TWICE has sold 9,800,784 albums in Korea from their debut album “THE STORY BEGINS” in Oct. 2015, followed by Nayeon’s first solo mini album “IM NAYEON” and their 11th mini album “BETWEEN 1&2,” according to Circle chart.

With 4,879,973 album sales in Japan, It is recording a total of 14,680,757 from Korea and Japan.

“BETWEEN 1&2,” released this Aug, surpassed cumulative album sales of 10 million copies.

TWICE will hold their fan meeting on Nov.5 at KBS Arena in Seoul.
