SEOUL, Mar. 22 (Yonhap) -- Ahead of National Puppy Day tomorrow, the South Korean distribution industry is gearing up to hold diverse dog-related events.

South Korea’s leading fashion and beauty app ZigZag, run by Kakao Style, will hold an exclusive food donation campaign for abandoned pets in commemoration of National Puppy Day. For every comment left on the Puppy Day campaign page, 200 grams of dog food per ID will be donated.

The total grams of food will be donated to domestic abandoned animal rescues in May by the end of the campaign. In the meantime, the online shopping platform will also offer pet fashion items, pet stroll items, pet toys, and pet accessories at discounted prices.

Meanwhile, the South Korean-made living culture company LF’s casual brand Hazzys will expand its iconic line to dog clothing. Hazzys’ iconic line consists of representative fashion items, including Piket T-shirts, cable knitwear, and Oxford shirts, that demonstrate the brand’s 20-year-long heritage.

Piket T-shirts are available in green, yellow, and black colors, while there are green, pink, and navy striped cable sweaters. The fashion brand is also planning to showcase quilted outwear during the fall season. In the meantime, it will also make use of its Myeongdong flagship store “Space H” and its official online mall “Hazzys.com” as main distribution networks for its iconic line.

These iconic fashion items will be available for purchase at The Hyundai Seoul, Starfield Goyang, lifestyle editing shop Raum East, as well as the online LF Mall.
