SEOUL, Sep. 9 (Yonhap) -- Netflix’s new original series “Hellbound” will be screened in England’s BFI London Film Festival.

The new series has been officially invited to Thrill division for the 65th BFI London Film Festival (LFF) Series, according to Netflix Thursday.

This is their 3rd love-call from an international film festival after being invited to Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF) and Busan International Film Festival (BIFF).

In “Hellbound” people are sentenced to hell by figures from hell. The supernatural fantasy features the incidents between a group of religious fanatics and those who try to discover the truth of the social panic.

The series was directed by Yeon Sang-ho, director of “Train to Busan,” and written by cartoonist Choi Gyu-seok, author of webtoon “Awl.” The cast includes actors and actresses Yoo Ah-in, Park Jung-min, Kim Hyun-joo and Won Jin-a.

BFI LFF is England’s biggest annual film festival co-held by the British Film Institute and London City.
