SEOUL, Dec. 30 (Yonhap) – K-pop boy group THE BOYZ participates in the soundtrack for the webtoon “Solo Leveling,” according to the agency IST Entertainment and D&C WEBTOON BIZ on Dec. 30.

“Solo Leveling,” the webtoon released on KakaoPage, has gained great popularity with the accumulated views of over 620 million in Korea. The combined subscribers of the web novel and the webtoon are over 7 million.

The webtoon won the Minister prize of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism in the webtoon category at “2021 KOREA CONTENT AWARDS,” while gaining popularity not only in Korea, but also in Japan, North America, and China.

The soundtrack in which THE BOYZ has participated will be released with the music video in February, 2022.

The group’s soundtrack is composed and written by 1Take and TAK, who are well known as the K-pop hit composers, according to IST Entertainment.

THE BOYZ, the 11-member boy group debuted in 2017, has continuously gathered fans since the debut and finally drew attention of many k-pop fans by winning “Road to Kingdom,” the Mnet’s music competition program, last year.
