SEOUL, July 29 (Yonhap) -- BLACKPINK’s latest single "JUMP" has surpassed 100 million streams on global music platform Spotify just 17 days after its release, YG Entertainment said Tuesday.
Released on July 11, "JUMP" reached the milestone on Sunday, tying BLACKPINK’s own record for the fastest 100 million streams by a K-pop female artist. The group previously achieved the same feat in 17 days with their hit "Pink Venom."
With the addition of "JUMP," BLACKPINK now has a total of 33 songs that have each garnered over 100 million streams on Spotify.
The group also recently released a live performance video of "JUMP," filmed during their world tour concert in Goyang earlier this month. The video features the members executing energetic choreography as the audience enthusiastically chants along.
Currently on their "DEADLINE" world tour, which kicked off in Goyang, BLACKPINK will continue with performances across Europe and Asia, including stops in Paris, Milan, and Bangkok starting next month.
