SEOUL, June 25 (Yonhap) -- Lotte Department Store said Thursday it will hold its 2026 Summer Sale from June 26 to July 12, offering discounts and special events aimed at capturing seasonal shopping demand.
Fashion products, including spring and summer collections, will be offered at discounts of up to 40 percent. Participating brands include luxury labels such as Thom Browne, Jacquemus, Tory Burch and Ami, as well as popular Korean fashion brands including Lueve, Rave and Seter.
To coincide with the peak vacation season, swimwear will also be available at discounted prices. Brands such as Nike Swim and Arena will offer swimwear and beachwear at up to 20 percent off.
Special swimwear pop-up stores are also planned. The Dongtan branch will host a pop-up for premium swimwear brand Plage from June 26 to July 9, while the Jamsil Lotte World Mall will feature a pop-up for children's swimwear brand Swim Ma Bebe from July 4 to July 19.
The retailer will also showcase a range of rainwear products, which have become essential during Korea's summer monsoon season.
A Beanpole x Hunter pop-up store will open at Jamsil Lotte World Mall from June 30 to July 12, offering limited-edition collaborative rain boots and raincoats at special discounted prices.
Meanwhile, the main branch will operate a Crocs pop-up store from June 26 to July 9, featuring water-friendly footwear such as sandals and clogs at discounts of up to 30 percent.
Lotte Department Store will also launch a "Cooling Bedding Festival" featuring summer bedding products designed to help customers cope with tropical nights. Popular brands including Allerman, Sesa and The House will offer cooling comforters and lightweight wool bedding at discounts of up to 60 percent.
The sale period will also include a variety of experiential events.
In the Busan region, Lotte Department Store will host an "All-Star Shopping Week" in collaboration with the professional baseball club Lotte Giants from June 24 to July 12.
Customers making purchases at seven Lotte Department Store branches in the Busan area between June 24 and June 30 will be entered into a drawing for tickets to the "Lotte Department Store x Lotte Giants Match Day," which will have 500 seats available.
During the event at Sajik Baseball Stadium in Busan on July 8, Lotte Department Store will operate a dedicated booth and hold various promotional events, including giveaways of Lotte Giants merchandise.
The department store's official Instagram account will also offer fans the opportunity to participate in ceremonial first-pitch and first-bat events through a comment-based promotion.
In addition, baseball-themed attractions, including Lotte Giants photo zones and cheerleading performances, will be available at participating stores through July 12.
"We have strengthened practical shopping benefits across major product categories as prolonged heat waves and heavy rains are expected again this summer," said Park Sang-woo, head of marketing at Lotte Department Store.
"Many baseball fans visit our stores wearing Lotte Giants uniforms during the baseball season, and we have prepared a shopping festival in collaboration with the club that combines shopping and baseball entertainment. We hope customers will show great interest," he added.
