SEOUL, Sept. 27 (Yonhap) -- BTS's Jungkook has received a platinum certification for the streaming version of his solo track "Seven - Explicit Ver." from the Japan Record Association, as announced by his agency, Big Hit Music, on the 27th. The song surpassed 100 million cumulative streams as of August, qualifying for the platinum certification in the streaming category.

The Japan Record Association awards certifications based on cumulative streams: Gold (over 50 million), Platinum (over 100 million), and Diamond (over 500 million).

"Seven" features witty lyrics about wanting to spend every day of the week with a loved one. The song was released in both an explicit version and a clean version.

Jungkook now holds a total of three platinum certifications, including both versions of "Seven" and his earlier solo track "Euphoria."

Additionally, BTS’s tracks "Dionysus" and the unit song "Dimple" by Jin, Jimin, V, and Jungkook received gold certifications in the streaming category.
