SEOUL, Sept. 17 (Yonhap) -- CJ Olive Young said Thursday it will recruit new employees for the second half of 2026 through Sept. 30 in what it described as its largest recruitment drive ever.
The recruitment will select talent for 31 positions through general and global insight tracks.
In particular, as the global K-beauty boom continues to spread, Olive Young has expanded and revamped its existing global recruitment track into the Global Insight track and added four positions to proactively secure talent with key global capabilities.
The general track will recruit for 17 positions, including merchandise planning (MD) and marketing, while seven IT positions will be open to new hires in areas such as back-end and front-end development and data architecture.
Since establishing a dedicated tech organization in 2021, Olive Young has actively recruited talent to lead in retail technology, including hiring more than 100 specialists in the field last year.
An Olive Young official said, "As Olive Young expands its business beyond being a leading K-beauty platform into global and technology sectors, the roles and expertise required of our talent are also becoming more diverse. Amid strong sales of K-beauty products, we plan to recruit on the largest scale in our history."
CJ Olive Young's recruitment volume last year more than tripled from 2021, while people under 30 accounted for more than 70 percent of all hires over the past five years.
A recruitment briefing will be held at 2 p.m. Sept. 21 at CJ Human Resources Center in Jung District, central Seoul. Further details are available on the CJ Group recruitment website and Olive Young's recruitment blog.
