SEOUL, June 18 (Yonhap) -- Dongkook Pharm Co. said Thursday it has established "Pharmacy Beauty Solution" zones specializing in beauty products at some 200 pharmacies nationwide.

 

The company said it launched the dedicated spaces in response to growing consumer interest in beauty products sold through pharmacies based on their ingredients and functional benefits.

 

The specialty zones feature selected products from pharmaceutical companies and dermatologist-based brands.

 

Dongkook Pharm offers products including its pharmacy-exclusive brand "Madeca Pharmacia," the "Panfessin" functional shampoo line designed to help alleviate hair loss symptoms, and "Sensi Slim" compression stockings classified as medical devices.

 

A company marketing official said the new platform is expected to become a key purchasing channel for consumers in their 50s and 60s.
