SEOUL, Nov. 29 (Yonhap) -- The National Theater of Korea will perform the year-end special performance "Three Presents" (literal translation) at Haeoreum Theater from December 20 to 31.
It is a two-day year-end stage by the three creative organizations under the National theater, the National Changguk Company of Korea, the National Dance Company, and the National Traditional Orchestra. The National Changgeuk Company of Korea will present the Changgeuk Concert, the National Dance Company will present the traditional dance collection, and the National Traditional Orchestra will present the year-end concert.
The first stage will be the Changgeuk concert "Yeonjak" which will run for two days from the Dec. 20 to 21.
It is where members of the National Changgeuk Company of Korea perform 33 songs selected from their main repertoire in the form of a gala concert. The 39-member orchestra, composed of Korean and Western instruments, will perform together.
The traditional dance collection "Sujak," which will be performed from Dec.24 to 25, is a performance where the changes of the season are played out with body movement under the theme of "Beautiful Circulation". A total of nine dances will be performed.
At the year-end concert "Masterpiece," which will take place on Dec. 30 to 31,L collaboration stage of Latin music and public singers along with Korean traditional orchestral music will be performed.
Bandoneon player Ko Sang-ji will perform Astor Piazzola "Oblivion" in collaboration with the Traditional Orchestra, and a stage with popular singers such as Shin Yong-jae will take place.
