SEOUL, Feb. 28 (Yonhap) -- Korea Broadcasting System will premiere a brand-new daily television series “My Gold, My Jade (literal title)” on Mar. 27.
The upcoming family drama series will follow the story of Geumg Gang-san, a single dad who raises his child alone, and Ok Mi-rae, the adopted child.
South Korean actor Seo Jun-young plays Geum Gang-san, a father who works hard as a side dish store owner and a nursing care worker for his child.
Yoon Da-young will appear as Ok Mi-rae, who is a teacher at an art academy who was adopted by the family who runs Hwangdong Food.
The upcoming television series sees Kim Si-hoo as Dong Joo-hyuk, who conceals his cool-headedness behind his politeness and friendliness, while Choi Jong-hwan plays his father Dong Kyu-cheol, who is also CEO of Hwangdong Food.
Director Choi Ji-young, who is known for previously delivering nationwide television series such as “Love on a Rooftop” (2015) and “The All-Round Wife” (2021), took the helm, along with screenwriter Chae Hye-young, who has credits for writing scripts for “Unasked Family” (2019).
This family television series will hit the small screens on Mar. 27 at 8:30 p.m.
