SEOUL, Oct. 21 (Yonhap) -- “Dreamers,” the official soundtrack for the 2022 Qatar World Cup sung by BTS member Jungkook, has surpassed 500 million streams on Spotify, his agency BigHit Music said Tuesday.

 

It marks Jungkook’s fifth song to reach the 500 million mark on the world’s largest music streaming platform, following “Seven,” “Standing Next to You,” “Left and Right” (his collaboration with Charlie Puth), and “3D.”

 

Released in November 2022, “Dreamers” topped the iTunes Top Songs chart in 102 regions worldwide and ranked No. 2 on Spotify’s Daily Top Songs Global chart. The performance video of “Dreamers,” uploaded on FIFA’s official YouTube channel, became the most-viewed video on the channel with 420 million views.

 

Jungkook has now accumulated over 9.7 billion streams on Spotify with his solo tracks, including 2.5 billion streams for “Seven.”
