SEOUL, June 4 (Yonhap) -- Former NCT member Mark has established his own agency, Upper Room, according to his representatives on Thursday.

Upper Room was founded with colleagues whom Mark has worked with and trusted over the years and is envisioned as a creative company. Mark will serve as co-chief executive officer of the agency.

Through the company, he plans to showcase a creative universe that connects music with various forms of content, including video, visual arts and performance.

"More than just a physical space, the company name represents a place where people with shared goals gather to exchange ideas and discover new possibilities," Upper Room said. "We will provide comprehensive support for Mark's music, vision and a wide range of projects."

Mark debuted in 2016 as a member of NCT and played a key role in the group's subunits NCT 127 and NCT Dream.

His exclusive contract with SM Entertainment ended in April, after which he left the groups.
