SEOUL, Aug. 14 (Yonhap) -- Vital Beauty, Amorepacific's inner beauty brand, will launch "Super Collagen PDRN," a new product for consumers seeking to maintain a meticulous care routine both in daily life and after professional treatments.

"Super Collagen PDRN" is an inner beauty product containing high concentrations of PDRN and low-molecular-weight collagen. It was jointly developed with dermatologists based on Amorepacific's more than 70 years of skin research.

The product comes in a dual formulation, with PDRN tablets and liquid collagen contained in a single bottle. Each PDRN tablet contains 100 mg of PDRN derived from Alaskan salmon in the United States, along with 120 mg of hyaluronic acid and 100 mg of glutathione, designed to provide comprehensive care.

The liquid collagen contains 6,000 mg of low-molecular-weight collagen with an average molecular weight of 300-500 Da. It also uses AP collagen enzyme-degraded peptides to achieve an absorption rate 9.4 times higher than that of previous products. Red orange complex extract, grape seed extract and vitamin C were added to support overall condition both inside and out.

The product was also designed for convenient consumption. Once a day, consumers take one PDRN tablet contained in the cap together with one liquid collagen ampoule. The liquid comes in an orange flavor to reduce the burden of the distinctive taste and smell of collagen.

Along with the launch, Vital Beauty will hold an event for foreign customers who book K-beauty medical treatments in partnership with "Gangnam Unni," a medical beauty platform. Customers who book hospitals through "Unni Guide," Gangnam Unni's one-on-one consultation, interpretation and booking service for foreign customers, will receive a limited-edition Vital Beauty kit containing "Super Collagen PDRN."

Through the partnership, Vital Beauty plans to introduce foreign customers to an "edible aftercare routine" that can be easily incorporated into daily life after K-beauty medical treatments.

A Vital Beauty official said consumers' concept of beauty is expanding beyond topical cosmetics to ingestible inner beauty products, with growing interest in ways to maintain care consistently rather than relying solely on one-time intensive treatments.

"We wanted to propose an aftercare routine that carries the momentum of intensive care into everyday life through this product," the official said.

The official added that through the partnership with Gangnam Unni, the company will introduce Korean inner beauty products to foreign customers interested in K-beauty treatments and expand opportunities for them to experience K-beauty.
