Lee Min-ki, Han Ji-hyun Cast in Medical Crime Kdrama 'Face Me'

SEOUL, Sept. 26 (Yonhap) -- Actors Lee Min-ki and Han Ji-hyun will team up as a doctor and a detective in the upcoming drama Face Me.

 

KBS announced on the 26th that Lee Min-ki, Han Ji-hyun, Lee Yi-kyung, and Jeon Bae-soo have been cast in the Wednesday-Thursday Kdrama "Face Me," set to premiere in November.

 

The drama follows the unexpected collaboration between a cold-hearted plastic surgeon and a passionate detective as they gradually grow closer to one another.

 

Lee Min-ki will play Cha Jung-woo, a top-tier plastic surgeon who can visualize the cause of an accident and determine the treatment method just by looking at a patient's injuries.

 

Han Ji-hyun takes on the role of Lee Min-hyung, an ace detective in the violent crimes unit. As she works with Cha Jung-woo in supporting crime victims, she begins to uncover the deep emotional wounds he's been hiding.

 

Lee Yi-kyung will play Han Woo-jin, Cha Jung-woo's childhood friend, while Jeon Bae-soo will portray Kim Seok-hoon, a warm-hearted mentor to Cha Jung-woo.

 

The drama will air following Gae Sori.
