SEOUL, Aug. 14 (Yonhap) -- Mamonde, a beauty brand under Amorepacific, has launched two new sunscreens designed to improve makeup adhesion and help it last for up to 24 hours.
The new products are "Flora Glow Rose UV Protector" and "Pore Control Peony UV Protector." Both contain key ingredients from Mamonde's signature Rose and Peony skin-care lines and are designed to block UV rays while helping makeup adhere smoothly to the skin and last for 24 hours.
"Flora Glow Rose UV Protector" is an ultralight sunscreen that uses Amorepacific's patented technology to create fine bubbles without gas. Less than 1 gram of the fine bubbles is produced with two to three pumps, allowing the product to spread thinly and evenly over the skin without stickiness or clumping.
The product contains Rose-Peptide, a key ingredient from Mamonde's Rose line, along with 80 percent skin-care ingredients to hydrate the skin and create a natural, dewy finish.
"Pore Control Peony UV Protector" is a purple-toned sunscreen that helps control excess sebum and oil while naturally correcting yellowish skin tones.
It contains peony extract, zinc and niacinamide, key ingredients designed to manage excess sebum and oil, refine the appearance of pores and create a smooth-looking complexion.
"We focused on the fact that sun care has become more than just UV protection and is now the first step in achieving a finished makeup look," a Mamonde official said. "The new products incorporate key ingredients from our best-selling Rose and Peony lines as well as our skin-care expertise."
The official added that consumers can choose between Rose for a hydrated, dewy finish and Peony for oil-control benefits, depending on their skin concerns and desired makeup look.
The two products will be rolled out through major online and offline retailers, including Olive Young, Naver and Amore Mall.
