SEOUL December 31 (Yonhap) -- Global block buster movie “Avatar The Way of Water” also known as “Avatar 2” successfully attracted over 7 million admission, addressed Walt Disney Company Korea on Saturday which is movie’s 18th day of its premiere.

“Avatar 2” which have been sitting on top of South Korean box office since its premiere on November 14, successfully attracted over 6.79 million viewers and throughout Saturday morning additional 200 thousand audiences watched the movie.

The record set by “Avatar 2” surpasses the total number of audience of South Korean movie sitting as fourth in line on annual South Korean box office chart “Confidential Assignment 2 : International” which attracted over 6.98 million viewers.

“Avatar 2” depicts a story line of family of Jake Sully acted by Sam Worthington and Neytiri acted by Zoe Saldana which faces certain danger threatening their family therefore family of Jake and Neytiri embarks on the journey to find safety for their family.
