SEOUL, Oct. 13 (Yonhap) -- Chat novel that depicted world view of Brandnew's rookie boy group "YOUNITE" will be published.

Kakao Entertainment and Brand New Music announced on Thursday that "1 for 9," which covered the world view of YOUNITE, will be released on KakaoPage.

The novel presents members of YOUNITE as 9 people with supernatural powers who have been sent to save the planet.

The title of the novel "1 for 9" is also the title of YOUNITE's first album.

While there were times idol group introduced their world views through MV, lyrics, or videos, it is unusual of the group to utilize chatting novel.

Chatting novel, using chatting dialogue, narration, and music effects, is characterized for its faster and more lively content than existing web novels.

Hwang Seon-jae, director of business development at Kakao Entertainment, said, "Chatting novels are unique in that it differs in form and method from existing webtoons and web novels," adding, "Begining with the collaboration with YOUNITE, we will make readers be more interested in chatting novels by trying out various genres and brining more works."
