SEOUL, September 20 (Yonhap) -- Korea's biggest media content exhibition, Gwanju Ace Fair (Asia Content & Entertainment Fair), will be held at the Kim Dae-jung Convention Center, in Gwangju starting from September 22 until September 25.
According to Gwangju City on Tuesday, the 17th Ace Fair will be hosted by Gwangju City and the Ministry of Culture, Sports, and Tourism and managed by the Kim Dae-jung Convention Center, Gwangju Information and Content Agency, Korea Cable TV Industry, Gwangju Institute of Design Promotion, and Korea Trade-Investment Promotion Agency.
The latest digital content will be presented under the theme of "Digital Transformation (Conversion) and Content Value Expansion".
340 companies from 30 different countries will be exhibiting their shows, characters, artificial intelligence, meta-verse, virtual reality, augmented reality, games, and many more technologies and products.
Along with the fair, content forums for overseas broadcasters, seminars by the Cable TV Broadcasting Association, international conferences on content development, and business exchanges between Korea and Taiwan will be held.
In particular, at the international conference, Netflix co-founder Mitch Lowe will be giving a keynote speech, and domestic and foreign online video streaming service companies will participate and share their knowledge and information.
There will also be events such as an illustration fair, an illustration exhibition for new artists, a youth broadcasting content contest, a movie premiere of the animation "Jurassic Cops," and Sae-Mo-Gwi (all the cutest things in the world) market.
