SEOUL, April 15 (Yonhap) -- A comedy film "Mismatch," starring Oh Dae-hwan, will be released on April 23, its distributor JNC Media Group said Wednesday.

"Mismatch" tells the story of Bong-soo, an incompetent head of a household whose memories become scrambled after an accident.

The title refers to situations that do not align, as Bong-soo mistakenly believes his wife, Ban Seong-hye, is his daughter and his daughter, Ji-yoon, is his friend, throwing their relationships into confusion.

Oh plays Bong-soo, a discouraged family man who has failed in business and lost his job. Oh Yoon-ah takes the role of his wife Ban Seong-hye, the pillar of the family, while Ahn Suk-hwan appears as Bong-soo’s father Seok-gu and Shin Soo-yeon plays his daughter Ji-yoon.

Lee Joon-hyuk, known for his role in the film "The Man Living with the King," plays Bong-soo’s friend Sang-young.

The film is directed by Son Tae-woong, who wrote "Barking Dogs Never Bite" by Bong Joon-ho and directed "Anatomy Class."
