SEOUL, Nov. 18 (Yonhap) -- Marvel’s action blockbuster “Spider-Man: No Way Home” is to be first released in Korea.
The upcoming “Spider-Man” series starring Tom Holland will first hit the Korean movies on December 15th, according to its distributor Sony Pictures Thursday. It’s next stop will be North America on the 17th.
This is the 3rd “Spider-Man” series to have been produced by Marvel and to be distributed by Sony.
While Peter Parker (Holland) tries to cover up his unmasked identity - a superhero shooting webs from between his fingers - through help from Doctor Strange (Benedict Cumberbatch), multi-verse (multiple universes) accidentally get opened up where he faces the worst moment of his life encountering the toughest enemies from diverse dimensions such as Doctor Octopus.
The film has been directed by director John Watts who took over the production of “Spider-Man: Homecoming” and “Spider-Man: Far From Home” as well.
