SEOUL, June 9 (Yonhap) -- Singer Kim Yoon-seol, who appeared on the music competition show "Sing Again 4," has died at the age of 28.
Kim died on Sunday, according to posts shared by fellow musicians.
Kim Jae-guk, vocalist of the band Takapi, wrote on social media Monday that Kim Yoon-seol, who appeared alongside him as contestant No. 6 on "Sing Again 4," had "gone to heaven" and offered condolences.
The cause of death was not disclosed.
Born in 1998, Kim debuted in 2013 with the single "Man and Woman" and later released songs including "Finally Good-Bye."
He first gained public attention after winning Voice Kids in 2013. He subsequently appeared on Voice Korea 2020 in 2020 and competed on "Sing Again 4" last year.
Funeral and memorial details were not immediately available.
